Comfort

All-time Favorite Comfort Food: Panera Bread Tomato Soup. Yummmmm!

So I don't know what today's been like for you all, but for me it's been a smidge of a hectic day - starting a new rotation at a new hospital with a new advisor - things can just get a teeny bit cray-zay. Fortunately, I was lucky enough to get to spend my evening unwinding with delicious food and wonderful conversation with my bstud. For some reason, comfort food reminds me of "comfort verses" in the bible - favorite verses that I always turn to and remind me of the faithfulness of the Lord. I just wanted to share a few of mine with you!

Whom have I in heaven but you? And earth has nothing I desire but you. My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever. ~ Psalm 73:26

The Lord will guide you always; he will satisfy your needs in a sun scorched land and will strengthen your frame. You will be like a well-watered garden, like a spring whose waters never fail. ~Isaiah 58:11

Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice! Let your gentleness be evident to all. The Lord is near. Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus. ~Philippians 4:4-7
