Wintry Mix. That is probably one of my least favorite phrases in the world. While I really do enjoy living in the northeast, the Cali girl in me gets fed up with the continual barrage of snow right about this time of year. I start to get tired of the same old thing day in and day out, and very discouraged about things that normally I would address with a positive attitude. Luckily, God is in the business of sustaining us when we feel tired and broken down! If any of you are feeling a little worn down like I am today, I pray that you would ask God to renew your strength and mediate on His power and control over all situations!
Do you not know? Have you not heard? The Lord is the everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth. He will not grow tired or weary, and his understanding no one can fathom. He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak. Even youths grow tired and weary, and young men stumble and fall; but those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength.
